The mission of MCSC is to provide extradoniray service and student support to not only students, but parents and teachers as well. With the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic, many changes to the education system as we knew it were made. This presented with various issues to all the stakeholder involved. Some of the many challenges facing us in this present time are; students missing classes due to lack of devices or internet connectivity, others being unable to grasp the proper use of online platforms, and some students falling behind because they are not able to adapt to online learning fast enough. Several students due to some of these issues have dropped out of school completely.Some parents have also been faced with the devastating choice of giving up their jobs to stay home and assist younger children with schooling. In the very early periods of lockdown it was even advised by the government that one parent should stay home while the other went out to work.Now that some students have become vaccinated and measures are being put in place for their return to school, already overworked teachers are now forced to figure out a way to facilitate both physical and online classes. In some schools they have even stopped online classe saying that it was virtually impossible to execute the two. While the fine details of this matter are being worked out it no doubt leaves the unvaccinated students at a disadvantage.Our Mission is also to fill in the gaps that have inadvertently been created by the Covid induced lockdowns as much as possible, so that no child is left behind.
